The Internet is public domain with connected computers being open targets to lingering hackers. One thing you should not miss is a test web application in your computer.
Test scripts for web applications are extremely important. One cannot stress this point enough. In a time where computer language and everything that goes with it is being developed and upgraded at immensely high speeds, slacking off a second and not being able to follow suit means a whole lot than one thinks. A test web application every once in a while helps in determining if an upgrade or a change in your computer is necessary.
If ever you fail to do the upgrade, you just might fall one step back, thereby allowing unscrupulous people to get ahead of you. These people we are talking about are what we generally call hackers. By allowing them even a single step ahead of you, you are letting them get you like an open target ? just there for the taking. Now, why is this so? The answer is rather very simple.
As mentioned above, computer language is developing in leaps and bounds; this is also true to hackers and what resources they have within their grasp. If you have old software that used to keep these hackers at bay, the moment they get upgrades, what you have for defense against them would look like an old man going up against a strong and younger man, full of vitality and power who just got his strength rejuvenated to exponential degrees. The picture it creates may be hilarious in a sense that overkill is apparent at your end, not the hacker’s.
User level access is also a key element if you do not want an invasion or infiltration of your computer system. And sometimes, it is just so refreshing just thinking of the basics and doing away, for a short while, with the advanced mumbo jumbo of computer management. Defining user access and putting walls in your more “sensitive? files in the computer is burden enough to people who have intentions of ruining your computer system.
Just like technicians and computer gurus, hackers also come in different skill levels. There are those who are at a level that we can put away in a simple arrangement of firewalls and restricted user access. There are also those who are so advanced you do not even want to think about the things they are capable of doing. My point is, they are so advanced, you would think there is nothing that can hold them back.
A hacker may be that great a force against the safety of your computer files, but you should also remember that there are antihackers ? the ones working against these hackers towards the maintenance of security, order, and peace in cyberspace. Skillwise, they can be at par or even more advanced than the hackers. Now, that should be relief on your part. These good forces against hackers create the test web application that continually updates your computer system. And just like a ball game, they help you keep the game under control , and they make sure the ball is with you more often than with the hackers. This ultimately means peace for yourself and for all the rest of Internet users.
